I think quality of Japanese Toilet is No1 in the world. Traveling abroad, I tried many toilets however the function and comfort of Japanese Toilet is the best. There are several type of Toilets in Japan as Japanese style(old traditional style, western style is the main stream), Western Style, Toilet only for boys type... I want to introduce the high quality Toilet to you. Once you experienced that you can not return to the regular toilet! In Japan the toilet with shower to clean is called "Washlet"(it seems to be mix wash+toilet...)."Washlet" name is the registered trade name of toilet No1 company, TOTO in Japan. "Washlet", cleaning function and warming toilet seat is getting basic function of Japanese toilet. It can be seen in the restaurant, office, starbucks...many places. Penetration rate of "Washlet" in Japan is about 68% as of 2008, so it will be more now. As Japan has winter season, warm toilet seat is MUST function in the winter season for me. In the Shanghai Expo, Japanese toilet company introduced most advanced toilet "REGIO", and it surprised many Chinese. ReplyDeleteI can only agree with you, especially the heated seats. Japanese toilets are "addictive", because once you get used to it, a normal toilet becomes uncomfortable.
